We are now booking for all hunts for the 2007/2008 season.
Trophy Whitetail/Whitetail Management Hunts
October 2007 – February 2008
WHR is a game managed ranch on a Texas Parks & Wildlife Level 2/3 MLD permit, allowing our season to
begin in October and run through the end of February. Both buck and anterless whitetail are legal to hunt
on our ranch throughout the entire five month period.
Trophy Exotics
Available Year Round
There is no regulated season for non native exotic wildlife. Hunts may be booked year round for
Blackbuck, Axis, Scimitar Oryx and Fallow.
Russian Boar/Feral Hogs
Available Year Round
Hogs are legal to hunt in Texas year round, with virtually no restrictions. It is however recommended not to
hunt feral hogs in the peak summer months (June-Sept) if you plan on keeping the meat.
Rio Grande Turkey
Nov – Dec 2007, Spring Season 08
Rio Grande Turkey hunts can be booked in line with the Fall and Spring seasons as outlined by TP&W.
Please note that openings for Trophy Whitetail and Exotics are limited to set quotas on an annual basis.
Demand is high so try to book as far in advance as possible. All hunters are required to provide a 50%
deposit on the base price of their preferred hunt to secure a booking (base price is not the same as kill fee
– see Guided Hunts).
