Hunt the Texas Hill Country – Have Fun - Relax
Located in the upper Texas Hill Country near Bend, Texas (25 minutes west
of Lampasas), Walking Horse Ranch is a 2500 acre, high-fenced,
intensely game managed ranch offering outstanding hunting adventures for both native and
exotic wildlife. You will not find a more beautiful,
picturesque ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Walking Horse Ranch is committed to ensuring
safe and ethical hunting, conservation and preservation of this incredible piece of land.
Hunters stay in our newly built
hunting lodge providing very comfortable lodging for up to five hunters. The lodge is fully
furnished and offers every modern convenience. All meals and snacks are included,
highlighted by an Alaskan seafood feast, perfectly grilled steaks and game harvested from the
ranch. No one goes hungry around here. Our
game processing facility is second to none ensuring your trophies and meat are cared for
properly. All meat is stored in our large walk in cooler until you are ready for departure. Hunts
are guided and semi-guided. Our hunting blinds are safe, weatherproof, have excellent chairs
and most seat 2 hunters comfortably. Hunters may also choose to bow hunt or spot and
stalk. When not in the field, guests can enjoy spectacular views while
relaxing at the lodge, go fishing for largemouth and catfish in Cherokee
Creek, or tour the extremely beautiful landscape that makes up this premier
Texas Hill Country ranch.
Walking Horse is registered with TP&W as a game managed ranch meaning
that we provide the tags for whitetail deer and we have plenty of them!
We offer packed hunts and/or animal specific fees for: Trophy Whitetail, Trophy Exotics,
Whitetail Management hunts, “Fill Your Freezer Hunts” Rio Grande Turkey, Russian Boar and
Feral Hogs.
